This Privacy Policy explains how ChannelValue ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit our website or submit the free channel valuation form. By submitting the form, you agree to this policy.
1. Who we are
ChannelValue is an independent service that prepares estimated valuation reports for YouTube and Instagram creators. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by YouTube, Google, Instagram, Facebook or Meta Platforms, Inc.

2. Information we collect
When you fill in our form, we collect:
- Your channel or profile link
- Your email address
- Your mobile number
- Your channel category, content format, subscriber/follower range and monetization status
- The estimated value shown to you
- Your consent confirmation and the date and time of submission
YouTube API Services. When you enter a YouTube channel link, our website uses YouTube API Services to fetch that channel's public name and subscriber count, so we can pre-fill the subscriber range. We only read public channel information — we do not access your YouTube account. By using this feature you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
We only look at information that is publicly visible on your channel. We never ask for your password, login codes or access to your account. If anyone claiming to be from ChannelValue asks for your password, do not share it.
Like most websites, our hosting and service providers may automatically record basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit, for security and to keep the site working.
3. How we use your information
- To prepare your estimated channel valuation report
- To contact you by email, phone call, SMS or WhatsApp about your report and related questions
- To keep a record of your request and your consent
- To prevent spam and misuse of our website
We will only send you other marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time by replying "STOP" or emailing us.
4. Legal basis and consent
We process your personal data based on the consent you give when you tick the checkbox and submit the form, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before you withdrew it.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run this website and handle your request:
- Netlify – website hosting
- FormSubmit – delivers form submissions to our email inbox
- Google (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Fonts, YouTube API Services) – email, secure storage of submissions, website fonts, and public subscriber counts
- Meta Platforms (Meta Pixel) – ad measurement, see section 6
These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.
6. Cookies and tracking (Meta Pixel)
We use the Meta Pixel, a measurement tool from Meta Platforms, Inc., on our website. It uses cookies and similar technologies to record that you visited our page and whether you submitted the form, so we can measure and improve our ads on Facebook and Instagram and show them to people who may be interested. We do not send your name, email address or mobile number to Meta through the Pixel.
Meta may combine this information with other data it holds, as described in Meta's Privacy Policy. You can control the ads you see in your Facebook ad preferences, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Our website does not set any other cookies of its own.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep your information only as long as needed to prepare your report and follow up with you, and in any case no longer than 12 months after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or the law requires us to keep it longer.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal data we hold about you
- Correct or update your data
- Delete your data
- Stop contacting you

9. Security
We use reputable service providers and limit access to your information to people who need it to handle your request. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
10. Age requirement
Our service is intended only for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has submitted their details, please email us and we will delete them.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with its effective date.
